First time trying the toasted owl & it was tasty! Pretty straightforward, casual breakfast spot but the cinnamon roll was exceptional! Also love that they have a plant based menu. Friendly staff, too! Price: standard Food: breakfast + plant based menu Drinks: standard Service: friendly staff Ambiance: eclectic cafe Good for: breakfast with plant based options

Food. Service. Ambience. All three to perfection!!! First visit a couple of weeks ago, going back this weekend, can't wait to order the Flagstaff omelette again!!!

Food and service were both excellent. There was a bit of a wait for a table on Sunday afternoon but not bad. Ambiance is quirky and fun!

You can buy owls!!!! Not real owls of course but they have tons of pictures, figurines and niche stuff that is all up for sale. Of course the food is why we came and enjoyed our meals immensely, but left with an owl lamp! Service was wonderful and so kind. We are for sure coming back for another meal and to see what other owls we can buy!

Kitschy owl-themed brunch cafe in the Camelback neighborhood in Phoenix, Arizona. While not vegan, it has its own vegan menu with favorites such as vegan pancakes, bacon lettuce tomato sandwiches, and a breakfast bowl made with plant-based "Just Eggs". In addition to bacon, you can also get vegan chorizo and chicken as sides. Serves endless coffee and for a fee, you can go home with the owl-themed mug. In fact, most of the vintage owl decor in the store is for sale. The store started in Flagstaff and has now three locations, this being the first in Phoenix. It brought that northern Arizona charm into the Valley which you can see reflected in the friendly servers. This place is good for small groups with mixed dietary needs and is kid and accessible-friendly.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and the food here! If you love owls, you will love this place. The entire restaurant is decorated with owl art and owl kitsch. Only detracting factor was that the service was rather slow. Our server was really nice and certainly trying but seemed a little scattered. We had coffee, which was okay and shared an order of the almond hot cakes. These were excellent! They were so good, we even tried to go back here later another day when we were in the area but they close at 3 and we missed out. These things are huge. One could easily feed two people and we ordered two thinking that they were small. We ended up taking one home which we enjoyed another day with some hot chocolate. I also got the breakfast tamales which were excellent. All the menu options have some sort of owl name or theme which is cute. You can purchase some cute merchandise as well such as hats and tee shirts but it is rather expensive for what it is. Still, they got me, I love owls! Also it's close to a nice independent bookstore so you can browse there while waiting for a table. If there is a line they will text you when a table is ready. We didn't stay here not have to wait long. Definitely look forward to returning here.

Overall very good experience! The mimosas are yummy and only $7! The food is delicious, they have chicken tenders that come with your breakfast and at first I thought that was an odd combination, but it was amazing! It is so cute and antique in here! My favorite thing is the lights! The service was also good, she offered some good suggestions.

I love the glass walls that make the place look bigger. They sat us right away. Very interesting menu. Everything is an owl. Even the coffee mugs are one offs with different logos and designs. Feels homey. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with eggs. I barely ate 1/3 of it. It's because the portion sizes are gigantic. I was with 5 baseball players and nobody finished their food. It was quite comical actually. Prices are reasonable. We'd definitely come back here, but make sure you fast the day before. LOL.
